Keith and Susan

Keith and Susan met at Oregon State University and we were married in the Manti Temple 32 years ago. They are the mother and father of three children, of which Loren is the oldest.

Keith was born in Corvallis, Oregon and soon moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he spent his youth until returning to Corvallis to attend college. He attended Oregon State University where he graduated with a degree in Forestry.

Keith’s hobbies include remodeling the house, scouting, and service. He loves to lead white water canoe trips and volunteers at scout camp each year.

Susan enjoys reading and belongs to a local book group. She has been sewing since she was 7 years old and also loves knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, doing Family History, watercolor and other arts. She enjoys working with children, having been a public school teacher for four and a half years. She continues to find ways to teach children in afterschool enrichment programs, mostly involving science, art and literature. She is actively involved in leading student groups in caring for and cultivating a school garden. She also leads science field trips to study geology, salmon, and the coastal environments of Oregon. She has worked in Cub Scouts for over ten accumulative years.

Keith and Susan love to be involved in their grandchildren’s lives and look forward to having more grandchildren to shower with their love and attention.
